Stanley Cup winner traded Russian goaltender to New York Rangers

Russian goalkeeperNew York Rangers » Alexander Georgiev moved to “Colorado avalanche following the trade, according to the Denver NHL club website.

The Rangers earned the 26-year-old Georgiev a third- and fifth-round NHL draft pick in 2022, as well as a fifth-round pick in 2023.

Georgiev has played for the New York club since the 2017/18 season. In total, he played 129 games for the team in the NHL regular season and two games in the playoffs, scored 58 wins and kept the gate intact eight times.

Colorado is last season’s Stanley Cup winner.
