Athletistic/Hockey. Former captain of the Russian national football team Andrei Arshavin said that he asked to join Alexander Radulov’s team in order to participate in the KHL All-Star Game.
“Will it be cool when I play hockey? I don’t even know… It all depends on what we do on the ice and how we do it.
I immediately chose the team where Radulov plays. I was leaving the other team. I know Alexandre is still playing. That’s why I asked to go. We met him about 20 years ago at a nightclub.
I don’t want to participate in anything at the KHL All-Star Game. Wherever they say it, I will participate. But in general, I want to do a shootout. I hope the goalkeeper will do everything so that I can score,” Arshavin is quoted in Match TV.
Note that at the next KHL All-Star Weekend, Arshavin will be the assistant coach of one of the teams – Andrei Razin.
The KHL All-Star Game will take place this season from December 9 to 10, 2023 in St. Petersburg at the new SKA Arena. This arena will be the largest hockey stadium in the world. In the future, SKA will perform there.
