Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Koucherov recognized as the first star of the day based on the results of Saturday’s NHL regular season games, according to the league’s website.
The Russian striker scored a brace and an assist in the away win against Seattle (4:3 OT). After that meeting, Kucherov led the sniper race with 19 goals.
The second star of the day was the Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren who stopped 31 shots and kept the goal intact in a home match against the New York Rangers (4:0).
In third place is the Boston Bruins forward. David Pastrnak who scored three points (two goals and an assist) in the match against Arizona (5:3).
