23 Russian players selected in 2022 NHL Draft

The Procedural Project took place in Montreal over two days – July 7 and 8. On Friday, the players were selected in rounds 2 through 7 of the draft.

118 – Goaltender Sergei Murashov (Pittsburgh)

120 – defender Arseniy Koromyslov (St. Louis)

134 – defender Vsevolod Komarov (Buffalo)

135 – Forward Nikita Grebenkin (Toronto)

138 – Goalkeeper Sergei Ivanov (Columbus)

147 – goalkeeper Maxim Mayorov (Dallas)

156 – defender Vladimir Grudinin (Carolina)

161 – younger brother of St. Louis forward Ivan Barbashev, forward Maxim Barbashev (Rangers)

In the 2021 NHL Draft, 29 Russian hockey players were selected.
