russian striker Valery Nichushkin and National Hockey League (NHL) club”Colorado avalanche are in talks to extend their contract, according to journalist Andy Strickland on Twitter.
– Colorado and Nichushkin are about to renew the contract. The deal is not yet done, the parties still have work to do,” Strickland wrote.
Nichushkin has played for Colorado since 2019. Last season, the Russian helped the team win the Stanley Cup, scoring 15 points (nine goals and six assists) in 20 playoff games. In the regular season, the 27-year-old hockey player played 62 games and scored 52 points (25+27).
