Winnipeg beat Los Angeles in an NHL game, Vilardi and Ehlers scored four points each

Winnipeg Jets won Los Angeles Kings in a regular season National Hockey League (NHL) game.

The meeting took place in Los Angeles and ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the guests. Nikolai Ehlers (2+2) and former Kings forward Gabriel Vilardi (1+3) scored four points each, Mark Scheifle had two goals and an assist. Anze Kopitar and Alex Lafrerrière scored for the hosts.

Russian Kings defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov missed the game due to injury. The 28-year-old hockey player was unavailable for several weeks.

Winnipeg scored 36 points and moved into fourth place in the Western Conference standings, ahead of Los Angeles (36).

In the next game, Winnipeg will host the Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles will face the Seattle Kraken. Both meetings will take place on December 16.
