The head coach “Colorado” Jared Bednar praised the striker’s performance Valeria Nichushkina during the NHL regular season game against “Buffalo” .
The match, which took place in Denver, ended with a score of 5:1 (3:1, 0:0, 2:0) in favor of the home team. Nichushkin scored a double and was recognized as the third star of the match.
“Val’s start to the match was just crazy. He probably could have scored four goals in the first eight minutes of the game,” Bednar was quoted as saying by the AP.
The Russian’s second goal in this meeting became his 100th in the NHL. In total, Nichushkin has 246 (100+146) points in 485 matches during his championship career.
