Athletistic/Hockey. The Tampa Bay Lightning won a voluntary victory against the Edmonton Oilers (7:4) in an away match of the NHL regular season. In this match the main roles were played by Russian players.
Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky was recognized as the first star of the game. The 29-year-old Russian stopped 53 of 57 shots on his possessions and his save percentage was 93%. It should be noted that in the NHL, it is extremely rare to recognize goaltenders who have conceded four goals in a game.
The second star was Tampa captain Steven Stamkos. The Canadian striker scored four goals in this match. The third star is Edmonton forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who scored three (1+2) points for his performance.
Note that Tampa’s Russian striker, Nikita Kucherov, was not among the first three players in the match. The 30-year-old Russian scored a goal and two assists in this match.
