Athletistic/Hockey. Spartak striker Matvey Zaseda expressed his desire to leave the Moscow club. Today, the 24-year-old Russian is participating in the Channel One Cup as part of the VHL Stars team.

“Now I play in Khimik all the time. It is clear that in Voskresensk everyone treats me very well and creates the most comfortable conditions. Everything is excellent there – the technical staff, the team and the fans. But at the moment I’m not getting closer to the Spartak match, so I’m asking the club to exchange me.

As the Russian President said, young people must set ambitious goals and objectives. Therefore, I want to be in the KHL, where I will be needed and where I can further develop as a player and compete for the Gagarin Cup,” Zaseda said, as quoted by Sport-Express.

Matvey Zaseda played 13 games for Spartak this season in the KHL and scored 7 (2+5) points in the goal+pass system. In the VHL, he has 19 games and 14 (7+7) performance points.
