Defender “Colorado » Cale Makar will not be able to help the team in the upcoming games of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL) due to a lower body injury, the NHL press service reports.
The hockey player’s exact recovery time has not been communicated.
This season, Makar played 27 games for the Avalanche in all tournaments, in which he scored 37 (8+29) points.
Colorado is in fifth place in the Western Conference standings with 38 points.
In 2020, Makar was recognized as the best rookie of the season in the NHL. In the 2021/22 season, he and Colorado won the Stanley Cup.
