“Colorado Avalanche” announced the signing of a contract with Alexander Georgiev . The deal with the Russian goalkeeper is for three years.
The total amount of the contract is $10.2 million.
The Avalanche previously traded the goalie to the New York Rangers for a third- and fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in 2023.
Georgiev has played for the New York club since the 2017/18 season. In total, he played 129 games for the team in the NHL regular season and two games in the playoffs, scored 58 wins and played zero eight times.
Colorado is last season’s Stanley Cup winner.
