The Russian Sports Ministry is open to dialogue with the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on the issue of returning the limit of five foreign players, commentator Roman Skvortsov said on his Telegram channel.
In December 2022, the Ministry of Sports approved a tightening of limits on foreign players in the KHL. From the 2023/24 season, clubs will not be able to include more than three foreigners in their squad.
