Ex-metallurg and SKA coach Vorobiev: “I miss work, I won’t lie”

Former coach “Metallurgy” , SKA and the Russian national hockey team Ilya Vorobiev admitted he missed work.

The 48-year-old specialist has been unemployed since April after leaving Metallurg Magnitogorsk. At the end of October, he left for Canada for an internship with the Vancouver Canucks NHL club.

During his career, Vorobyov coached Metallurg twice and also worked with the Russian national team and SKA Saint Petersburg. Under his leadership, the Magnitogorsk club won the Gagarin Cup in 2016.
