President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Poutine approved the order to take additional measures aimed at improving the activities of sports agents.
In October, Putin met with the president on the development of physical culture and sports. During the meeting, the President, among other things, asked the President of the Russian Hockey Federation (RFH), Vladislav Tretyak, and the Ministry of Sports to address the situation in which Russian hockey players are going to play in foreign leagues from a young age.
— With the participation of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Hockey Federation”, the Limited Liability Company “Continental Hockey League”, other interested All-Russian sports federations and physical culture and sports organizations, take additional measures aimed at improving the activities of sports agents in order to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of other subjects of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation, ”the text of the order reads on the Kremlin website.
The deadline for execution of this order is July 30, 2024.
