“People come to Russian classics after 35 years, nothing caught my attention at school” – SKA striker Gritsyuk

Attack SKA Arseniy Gritsiouk admitted that at school he was not attracted by classical Russian literature and needed to mature in it.

On Tuesday, SKA beat Sochi at home. The meeting at the Ice Palace ended with a score of 7:2 in favor of the St. Petersburg team. Gritsyuk scored the hosts’ fifth goal. The last time the 22-year-old forward stepped on the ice was on November 20 against CSKA, after which he recovered. On December 19, at the SKA stadium, as part of a joint event with a chain of bookstores, a collection of books for a charity market took place.

– Good match, good team movement. We started well, but the implementation let us down. We went into the third period with a different, winning mindset, the goals started coming in and each of the guys gained confidence.

I won’t say it was my best match for SKA in terms of conversion chances, I only scored one goal. Overall, I’m happy with my game.

I read books during the season, but I do more in the playoffs. The last book this year was Don’t Tell No One. I love detective novels and suspenseful thrillers. I didn’t read the classics at school, only short summaries. Nothing is stuck. People come to Russian classics after 35 years, ”reports a correspondent, reporting Gritsyuk’s words.

SKA rose to fourth place in the Western Conference standings, gaining 53 points.
