Athletistic/Hockey. Washington Capitals forward Ivan Miroshnichenko shared his expectations for potentially matching up with Evgeny Kuznetsov on the same line in an NHL game.
“I hope that I will help Kuznetsov to score a few goals, and he, in turn, will help me to score (smiling),” journalist Sammy Silber quoted Miroshnichenko as saying on his social media page.
This season, Ivan Miroshnichenko, a member of the Hershey Bears, Washington’s farm club, played 27 games in the AHL and scored 15 (8+7) points in the goal+pass system.
Ivan Miroshnichenko graduated from Omsk Avangard. He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft, 20th overall. The Russian left for North America before the start of this season. In the pre-season, Ivan took part in three matches for the capital and scored two assists.
