Athletistic/Hockey. The New York Rangers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs (4:2) last night in an NHL regular season away game. Rangers forward Artemi Panarin scored a goal.
The 32-year-old Russian has scored 43 (17+26) points in the “goal+pass” system in 30 games this season in the NHL. Artemy became the ninth player in club history to score more than 43 points in the first 30 matches of the season. Previously, such a feat was noted by world hockey legends: Frank Boucher (53 points), Jean Ratel (51), Bill Cook (48), Mark Messier (46), Vic Hadfield (46), Rod Gilbert (46 ), Jaromir Jagr (44 years old), as well as Théo Fleury (43 years old).
Artemi Panarin has been playing for the Rangers since 2019. His contract with the Big Apple club runs until the end of the 2025/2026 season. The Russian’s salary is around $11.6 million per season.
