Athletistic / Hockey. The story of the short playing time of striker Damir Zhafyarov and defender Nikita Evseev in Ak Bars has gone beyond the Kazan club. Hockey players’ agent Shumi Babaev is trying to terminate the players’ contracts with the Tatarstan club.
According to Sport-Express, Babaev filed a statement with the KHL demanding that Zhafyarov and Evseev’s contracts with Ak Bars be terminated under the “sports discrimination” clause. Note that Zhafyarov stopped joining the Kazan club in the fall, and Evseev was completely sent to the VHL.
Damir Zhafyarov played 75 matches for SKA last season, scored 17 goals and made 36 assists. In the current campaign, the 29-year-old Russian has 17 matches and 2 (1+1) points thanks to the goal+pass system. Previously, there were reports of active interest in the hockey player from Omsk Avangard.
