The unilateral deal with the 25-year-old goalkeeper is valid until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Previously, Melnichuk played in the KHL for SKA Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo, Sochi, Omsk Avangard and Chelyabinsk Traktor. In total, he played 46 championship matches, in which he won 16 victories with a reliability coefficient of 2.43 and 91.3% reflected shots.
Also on Wednesday, SKA St. Petersburg terminated and signed a new contract with defender Artem Sergeev. His agreement with the club runs until April 30, 2026.
