Athletistic / Hockey. SKA head coach and simultaneously first vice-president of the Russian Hockey Federation (RHF) Roman Rotenberg spoke about continued communication with the International Roller Hockey Federation (IIHF).

“We are constantly communicating with everyone. We have a good relationship, but now there is a lot of politics. The IIHF and I do not discuss politics. When the SVO is finished, we will discuss more specific things and our return. Until then, just “Friendly relations continue. Happy holidays, my friend. Congratulations to our friend,” said Rotenberg according to Sport-Express.

In March 2022, the IIHF suspended the Russian national ice hockey team from participating in international tournaments. This spring, the international federation decided to extend the suspension for the entire 2023/2024 season, including for the 2024 World Championships in the Czech Republic.
