Zubov became assistant head coach of SKA, Bragin and Yurzinov became advisers

Sergei Zubov has taken over as assistant head coach of SKA St. Petersburg Roman Rotenberg, according to the club’s official KHL website.

The message also confirms reports from that Valery Bragin has left the position of head coach of the team and will continue to work at the club as a breeding consultant. Bragin worked as SKA’s head coach from June 2020 to January 2022.

Vladimir Yurzinov Sr. was also appointed adviser to the head coach of the army club.

The SKA headquarters for the 2022/23 season is as follows:

– Albert Leshchev (work with defenders, minority)

— Konstantin Shafranov (work with strikers, majority)

– Sergey Zubov (assistant head coach on general issues, work with defenders)

— Aleksey Babintsev (complex work with field agents)

— Daniel Bochner (development coach, individual skills development)

— Stefan Persson (goalkeeping coach, goalkeeping development)

— Pavel Orlov (goalkeeping coach, goalkeeping development)

— Artem Bad (physical trainer, general physical preparation)

— Craig Sloanwhite (Fitness Coach, Individual Fitness)

— Alexander Troshin (physical trainer, individual physical preparation);

– Advisor to the head coach – Vladimir Yurzinov Sr.;

– consultant-breeder – Valery Bragin.

Rotenberg was appointed SKA head coach late last year. The St. Petersburg club lost last season to CSKA in the KHL Western Conference final.
