Agent Alexander Chernykh, representing the interests of hockey players Daniel Tarasov And Yaroslav Kosovo explained why the players decided to continue their careers with European clubs.
Tarasov’s last club was Beijing Red Star Kunlun. Kosovo has not played in the KHL since the 2021/22 season. Yaroslav is a two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup.
— Why couldn’t you find a team for Daniil Tarasov?
— We decided to go to Europe to relaunch our careers. There was an option with a Swiss club, but now there are visa problems. Now the paperwork is complete, but the team has filled that position with another player. Since we managed to obtain a visa, we hope to be able to find an agreement with another European club.
— We also talked about the possible return of Yaroslav Kosov to the KHL. Were there any negotiations?
— There were, but I don’t understand why no one took such a player. Everything happens in life, and who knows, they will understand what I’m talking about. Yaroslav could help any team, especially in the playoffs. Now he is also working on a visa, we will try to find a club in Europe,” Chernykh said, as quoted by RB Sport.
