At the deadline (the last day of the transfer window), a major three-way trade took place in the KHL. As a result, Damir Zhafyarov left Ak Bars for Avangard, striker Igor Geraskin left the Omsk club for Magnitogorsk Metallurg, and striker Semyon Koshelev left Magnitogorsk for Kazan.
