Head coach of SKA Romain Rotenberg said the St. Petersburg club did everything possible to return striker Artem Shvets-Rogovoy after injury.
On Saturday, SKA defeated Yekaterinburg Avtomobilist with a score of 4:0 in the home match of the Fonbet KHL Championship. Shvets-Rogovoy stepped on the ice for the first time since April 2022.
— Boys don’t abandon theirs. He is a player who makes a huge contribution with his work ethic. He takes the blow and is not discouraged. We did everything we could to get him back. And the doctors are great, and so is he. Artem was able to get out of this situation thanks to his Russian character. Let’s wish him victories. But we all understand that he can play even better, ”reports a correspondent, reporting Rotenberg’s words.
Shvets-Rogovoy played 296 matches in the KHL and scored 91 points (32 goals and 59 assists).
