This goal was Panarin’s 100th goal in the current calendar year. Artemiy became only the second player in Rangers history to achieve this feat for the second time. Before him, only Mark Messier achieved this, who achieved it in 1992 and 1995.

So, the Russian forward scored 50 points in the current NHL season. He now has 23 goals and 27 assists. The Rangers became the first team this season to score 50 points. With 51 points, the Rangers are at the top of the general classification.
