New York’s Russian striker Rangers » Artemy Panarin recognized as the first star of the day based on the results of Saturday’s NHL regular season games, according to the league’s website.
Panarin scored a hat trick in a 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning to surpass the 100-point mark for the calendar year. The striker achieved this feat with the Rangers for the second time in his career, repeating the result of 2022 (101 points). Panarin is the second player in the club’s history according to this indicator after Canadian Mark Messier.
The second star was Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak, who had a double and an assist in the 5-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils.
The third star of the day was Russian Rangers goalie Igor. Shesterkin who stopped 34 of 35 shots in the game against Tampa.
