— Would you like to go back to the 90s? There was absolute freedom then.

— I wouldn’t want to go back to the 90s. I have respect for that era. If only because I came to television at that time. But when it comes to other things, everyone knows those times were tough.

— A few questions about hockey. You recently worked on the CSKA – SKA match (0:2) while leading the studio.

— It’s a good story, because, almost like Zhvanetsky, people sometimes ask me: “How long have you been playing hockey?” Let me remind you that in Moscow alone I worked on two world championships – at Megasport in 2007 and, where CSKA is currently performing brilliantly, in 2016. — If you ask Ilya who his favorite commentator is, what do you think Kovalchuk will answer?

— What will Kovalchuk say?

– We all know what he will say. Therefore, I also like Ilya for this. But above all because he is eager for sport, for games. 40 year old man, wonderful family. He is a very handsome man. Russian hockey needs such people. Two goals in two matches. He plays, but does not finish the game. It is important!
