The 30-year-old Russian scored 2 (1+1) points using the goal+pass system in the match against the Habs. This allowed Kucherov to reach the 60-point mark for the first time this season in the NHL. Currently, Nikita has 61 points (26+35) in 37 matches and is the top scorer in the league. Second place in the scoring race is occupied by Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon – 58 (19+39) points after 37 games.
Tampa has 41 points in 37 matches and is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
