The forward suffered a lower body injury during the third period of the NHL regular season game against Winnipeg on Saturday (2:4). It happened during a fight for the puck with Jets defenseman Brendan Dillon. Kaprizov did not participate in the home match against Winnipeg on Sunday (2:3).
Additionally, Minnesota goaltender Filip Gustavsson is reportedly out for several weeks.
This season, Kaprizov scored 34 points (13 goals and 21 assists) in 34 games.
