NHL: Seattle defeated the Western Conference leader in the Winter Classic

A regular season match took place in the National Hockey League last night.

Vegas missed a chance to regain sole control of the Western Conference and the championship overall. To stay in the lead, the Golden Knights had to beat Seattle on the road.

The game took place in the traditional Winter Classic format – outdoors. However, the only match of the day in the league ended in a confident victory for the hosts 3:0. For the Krakens, this victory was the fifth in a row; Vegas, meanwhile, lost its fifth game in its last six.
