“I’m not one of those people who wants to be around media people. I like to keep quiet a little bit. I just want to play hockey. People probably want to know a little bit about my personal life. But I’ I’m a bit closed off. Maybe my English wasn’t very good earlier, and I didn’t talk to journalists too much. Again, it’s in my mind. It suits me because I know that I am a good hockey player,” the NHL press service quotes Malkin.
This season, Evgeni Malkin played 36 matches in the regular season and scored 32 (14+18) points for his performance. Gino made his NHL debut in the fall of 2006 and is now a three-time Stanley Cup winner. In total, during his career in North America, he played 1,099 regular season matches, scored 485 goals and made 776 assists.
