The American and Swedish national teams will play in the final of the World Junior Hockey Championship

Team USA beat Finland in the semifinals of the World Junior Hockey Championship in Gothenburg.

The match ended with a score of 3:2 (0:2, 2:0, 1:0). James Snuggerud, William Smith and Cutter Gauthier scored goals for the winners. Oiva Keskinen and Rasmus Kumpulainen scored for the Finns.

Previously, the Swedish team reached the final of the tournament by beating the Czech team 5:2. The deciding match for gold will take place on January 5.
