The match ended with a score of 3:2 (0:2, 2:0, 1:0). James Snuggerud, William Smith and Cutter Gauthier scored goals for the winners. Oiva Keskinen and Rasmus Kumpulainen scored for the Finns.
Previously, the Swedish team reached the final of the tournament by beating the Czech team 5:2. The deciding match for gold will take place on January 5.
