The head coach “Columbus » Pascal Vincent congratulated the Russian goalkeeper Daniel Tarasov for the NHL regular season game against Philadelphia.
Columbus defeated Philadelphia in a shootout with a score of 3:2. Tarasov, 24, stopped 39 shots and was unable to reach his goal in the post-match shootout.
“I think he played an exceptional game. “The guys did a good job on the penalty kill, but at the end of the day your goalie has to be the key player, especially in a 3-on-5 game. He was really good from start to finish,” said declared Vincent. per the NHL website.
Columbus occupies the penultimate place in the Eastern Conference standings with 34 points.
