Athletistic/Hockey. Journalist for the Russian publication Machine Never Breaks, Ian Oland, explained why Russian Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin was not included in the NHL All-Star Game. Canadian forward Tom Wilson was chosen instead.
“I love Tom, but he was the fourth most important player on the Capitals. How could you not take Alexander Ovechkin? That’s very strange?” – reads the message.
Ovechkin still has a chance to make the All-Star Game as only 32 players have been selected and another 12 players will be selected by fan vote.
