The 2024 National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game will take place in Toronto. Star Weekend will take place from February 2 to 3.
According to El-Bashir, the 38-year-old Russian decided to skip the All-Star Game in order to rest and better prepare for the second part of the season.
Earlier, the NHL released a list of 32 hockey players selected to participate in the 2024 League All-Star Game. Among the Russians, goaltender Igor Shesterkin (Rangers) and forwards Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota) and Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay) will participate in the event. 44 hockey players will participate in the 2024 NHL All-Star Game. The remaining 12 players will be selected via a fan vote that lasts until January 11.
