According to the Capitals’ social media page, the 38-year-old Russian is on the team for the game against the Kings. On Saturday, Ovechkin missed Washington’s practice and the forward took the day off due to an injury suffered in the game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ovechkin scored 25 points (8 goals and 17 assists) in 37 regular season games in the NHL this season.
