Ovechkin extends NHL goal streak to five games

The Russian attackerWashington » Alexander Ovechkin made an assist in an NHL regular season game with “Los Angeles Kings ” and extended his goal streak to five matches.

Washington beat Los Angeles at home – 4:3, Ovechkin completed an assist for Dylan Strome at the end of the second period, the Russian helped the hosts equalize the score – 2:2.

This season, Ovechkin has scored 8 goals and made 18 assists in 38 matches. In the last five games, the Russian has completed four passes and scored two goals.

Ovechkin, 38, ranks second on the league’s all-time goalscoring list with 830 goals, 64 behind Canada’s Wayne Gretzky (894).
