Athletistic/Hockey. Luc Tardif, president of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), expressed his opinion regarding allegations in the media that Russia exerted pressure on the organization, which led to the imposition of sanctions against Israel.

“These accusations are unfounded,” Tardif said, as quoted by RIA Novosti Sport.

On January 11, it became known that the Council of the International Ice Hockey Federation decided to temporarily exclude Israel from participation in international competitions held under the auspices of the IIHF due to concerns about the safety of all participants at the tournament.
