Washington Capitals won New York Rangers during a regular season home game National Hockey League (NHL).

The match ended with a score of 3:2. Anthony Mantha, Nic Dowd and TJ Oshie scored goals for the winners, while Adam Fox scored a brace for the visitors.

Washington’s Russian forward Evgeny Kuznetsov spent over 16 minutes on the ice and scored one assist. New York forward Artemy Panarin finished the match with a score of -1, while his teammate, goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin, spent the match on the bench.

Captain of the Capitals Alexander Ovechkin missed the game with a lower body injury.

Washington scored 46 points and moved up to ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings, with the Rangers (54) in third place.
