Athletistic/Hockey. Striker Alexander Radulov has commented on signing a two-year contract with Ak Bars.

“Decisions to return are not easy, but given my age and family situation, I wanted to spend more time in Russia. I accepted the offer from Ak Bars because it is a big club, where everything is at the highest level, the team sets the highest tasks for itself, and it has always been a pleasure for me to play in Kazan,” Radulov is quoted on the club’s website.

The move to Ak Bars is Radulov’s third NHL return to Russia. Earlier in 2008, the striker returned to Salavat Yulaev for 4 years after two seasons in Nashville. Then he again went to the NHL in Nashville, but only played 9 regular season games and 8 playoff games, after which he returned to the KHL and signed a contract with CSKA. After 4 seasons in the army club, he again left for the NHL, played one season for Montreal, then 5 for Dallas, after which he returned to Russia.

Radulov under the management of Znark is a strange idea for the management of Ak Bars. The club may have problems in the dressing room
