Former hockey player for Spartak Moscow and SKA Saint Petersburg Maxime Rybine said the Russian New York Rangers forward Artemy Panarin performed brilliantly throughout his NHL career, noting that sometimes the forward plays like an idiot.
Panarin has 62 points (28 goals + 34 assists) in 46 regular games in the NHL this season.
— Panarin is a true master in his profession, he directs his partners. It’s no secret that he doesn’t really train in the Stanley Cup, where he fades a bit. If he is able to transfer the quality of performance from the regular season to the playoffs, then the team will have completely different chances of getting through the second and third rounds and winning.
Almost from the moment Artemy arrived, he played quite brightly and creatively, even in a whimsical way. He can score an extra goal, but instead he makes a magnificent pass – a master, what can I say? He can score 100 points in a season,” RT Rybin quotes.
Panarin joined the Rangers roster in 2019. He previously played for the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets.
