Athletistic / Hockey. Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov has been named the NHL’s Most Valuable Player of the current season. The 26-year-old Russian would hand this title to his compatriot, Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov.

“Who would I give the Hart Trophy to if I had to give it now? Kucherov. He’s handsome! We met Tampa, Nikita is playing very well and in general the majority of this team is very strong. Kucherov leads them. His pass , hockey thinking is very strong,” quotes Kaprizov in Izvestia.

The Hart Trophy is an award given to the NHL’s most valuable player of the season. Nikita Kucherov already received it at the end of the 2018/2019 season.

Nikita Kucherov has scored 76 (28+48) points in the “goal+pass” system in 46 matches this season. Kiril Kaprizov, after 39 matches, has 42 (18+24) performance points.
