Fans started fight at VHL game in Samara, league promises to look into incident ‘thoroughly’

In Samara, during a match of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL), a fight broke out between supporters of a local CSK Air Force and Penza “Diesel” . This was reported by the VHL press service.

The incident occurred during the third period of the match, which ended with Diesel’s victory with a score of 4:3. Videos circulating online show how a dozen people started a fight near from the guest sector.

“The League categorically condemns this behavior by supporters and will fully investigate the incident. Proceedings have been initiated within the FHR Disciplinary Committee regarding the incident, and the actions of all parties will be subject to legal assessment and appropriate sanctions will be imposed, the VHL statement said.

The league noted that decisions made will also be communicated.

“Diesel” occupies 21st place in the VHL rankings, scoring 48 points in 49 matches. CSK VVS has 44 points and 24th place.
