“It doesn’t matter who we face in the first round of the playoffs” – Dynamo Minsk striker Kodola

Ahead of Minsk “Dynamo » Vladislav Kodola told that his team doesn’t care who they face in the first round of the Gagarin Cup.

In the current regular KHL championship, Dynamo Minsk is in eighth place in the Western Conference, scoring 55 points in 55 matches.

— Dynamo lacks stability during the season. You can beat SKA and Lokomotiv, but lose to Kunlun – 2:5. Does the team understand the reasons?

– This is a difficult question. Maybe somewhere we relax, lose focus. We are having problems starting matches. It rarely happens that we conduct meetings from start to finish, as happened for example with SKA and CSKA. I would like to play all the matches, like against the Army and Lokomotiv teams. Let’s get ready, the playoffs are coming soon. We must improve in each match, control the matches from the first minutes and avoid twists and turns.

— Kvartalnov said the team is building as the season progresses. Is there a feeling within the team that things are improving? Is the coaching staff introducing new aspects to the coaching process or tactics?

— Since the start of the season, our training process and tactics have not changed. There are changes in the lineup – new guys coming in, some being rotated. I wish there were more stable combinations. Sometimes it happens that they start to interfere with us, trying different options. But everyone understands that we will only find our best game through work.

— Are we talking in the team about moving up from eighth place so as not to fall into SKA or Lokomotiv in the first round?

– You can’t guess here. It doesn’t matter who we hit in the first round. You cannot choose your opponent. You have to focus on your game and approach the playoffs with a good attitude,” Kodola told .
