Russian Columbus forward Egor Chinakhov summed up the results of the NHL regular season match against Seattle (2:4).
The 22-year-old hockey player scored a double in the match and was recognized as the second star of the match.
— Once again we had a difficult start to the match, we tried to speed up the game and we believed we could win. We didn’t play very well in the first half. For my part, I’m just trying to score. I know I have a good shot. And I try to stop every chance I get. That’s all.
We will continue to fight and try to win every game. We have to believe in ourselves and in the team,” Chinakhov told reporters in the locker room, as quoted by Bally Sports.
Columbus sits in second-to-last place in the NHL Eastern Conference with 40 points.
