Athletistic/ Figure skating. On Monday January 29, the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was announced. The court found the athlete guilty of violating anti-doping rules and disqualified her for four years. SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg spoke about this.

– We cannot influence politics. The decision is politicized. It’s 100%. I looked at the conditions, they gave a four-year disqualification, but from 2021. As a result, there is a little more than a year left. Well, there is no need to dramatize this situation. Well, as things stand, yes,” Rotenberg was quoted as saying by the club’s press service.
