Omsk”Avant-garde “extended agreements with forwards Nikita Kholodilin, Mikhail Belyaev and Mark Verba, reports the press service of the hockey club.
A new unilateral contract for one season was signed with Verba and bilateral agreements for two seasons were signed with Kholodilin and Belyaev.
“We closely observed not only each other’s performances, but also how the guys built relationships within the team. It must be said that all three are now an integral part of our team. Some have won more points, others don’t have as much playing time, but are irreplaceable in the locker room and on the bench. It’s important for us to approach the next seasons with people we can count on. Therefore, Verba, Kholodilin and Belyaev will continue to play for Avangard,” said Avangard general director Anton Kuryanov.
This season, 21-year-old Kholodilin played 48 matches for the Omsk team and scored 13 (8+5) points. Belyaev, 26, has 35 matches in the current Fonbet KHL championship and 9 (4+5) points. Verba, 25, has not scored a point in 14 games.
