Athletistic / Hockey. The Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the St. Louis Blues 1-0 last night in an NHL regular season road game. The only goal of the match was scored by Russian “uniform” striker Dmitry Voronkov.

Voronkov is in his first season in the NHL. In 44 matches this season, the 23-year-old Russian scored 25 points for his performance – he scored 12 goals and became the author of 13 assists. The puck in the match against St. Louis helped Dmitry take third place among the goals of NHL rookies. At the moment, Voronkov has the same number of goals as another Columbus forward, Adam Fantilli. Only Minnesota Wild forward Marco Rossi (13) and Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard (15) have managed to score more goals.

Columbus has scored 42 points in 50 matches and is in penultimate, 15th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
