Ak Bars on its official website announced the appointment Zinetuly Bilyaletdinova to the position of advisor to the general manager of vertical hockey.
– I am grateful to Ak Bars for the invitation to an interesting position. It is the continuity of my work within the club, but in a different form and in a new status. I would like to use this experience for the benefit of the club, which has given so much to me personally and to our hockey, and pass on the knowledge to a new generation of coaches and players,” Bilyaletdinov said.
Bilyaletdinov was head coach of Ak Bars in 2004-2011 and 2014-2019. Under his leadership, the Kazan club won the Gagarin Cup three times.
Oleg Znarok became the head coach of Ak Bars earlier in July.
