Belarusian defender of Moscow “Dynamo » Artem Volchenkov will be returned to service no earlier than the end of March, the press service of the “blues and whites” reported.
The hockey player was injured during a match for the VHL farm club Dynamo. Examination revealed a serious upper body injury. Dynamo have confirmed that Volchenkov will be out for an extended period. Estimated return date is end of March.
22-year-old Volchenkov played two matches for the Muscovites in the current season of the Fonbet KHL Championship and also played 39 matches in the VHL for Dynamo St. Petersburg, where he scored 12 (2+10) points.
